词汇在大学英语教学中起着举足轻重的作用,然而,学生普遍感觉单词记忆困难,根本原因是没有采取有效的学习策略。大学英语教师在教学中要根据英语词汇教与学的基本规律,通过培养学生元认知策略,在教学中运用词汇附带习得策略和“词块法”记忆策略,向学生讲授具体的英语词汇学习策略与方法,帮助学生扩大词汇量,最终达到词汇习得的目的。
Vocabulary plays a decisive role in college English teaching. However, students generally find it hard to memorize words. The root cause is that no effective learning strategies have been adopted. College English teachers in teaching should be based on the basic rules of English vocabulary teaching and learning, through the training of students metacognitive strategies in teaching the use of vocabulary collation and “vocabulary block method” memory strategy to teach students specific English vocabulary learning strategies and methods to help students expand their vocabulary and eventually achieve the purpose of vocabulary acquisition.
