学校是对学生传授知识的主要场所,然而在知识迅猛发展的今天,仅靠课堂教学已是不够的了,还必须培养学生阅读课外书籍的习惯和方法,让他们能独立地广泛地从课外书籍中吸取更多的营养,让课外阅读成为学生的“第二课堂”。我校图书室近几年来结合学校的思想品德教育和课堂教学的任务,配合少先队组织开展了以“和好书交朋友”为中心的课外阅读活动,先后组织了“读书读报小组”,举办了“读书报告会”、“故事会”、“演讲会“、“读书读报奖章给谁戴”的中队主题会,开设了“课外阅读指导课”,举办了“红领巾读书读报夏令营”以及人人写读书笔记,交流读书心得体会等,收到了良好的效果。我校被评为“全国红领巾读书读报奖章活动先进集体”。
