数学源于生活,服务于生活。有效的数学学习离不开与生活问题的密切联系,有效的数学教学活动必须建立在学生的认知发展水平和已有的知识经验基础之上。如何使学生将数学学习与生活紧密联系起来,并使它成为提高学生数学学习质量的有效手段呢?以“生活体验”为特征的数学学习:新课程非常注重孩子已有的生活经验和感性认识,也一再强调数学的素材要来源于学生的生活,然后重新回到生活,应用于生活。生活经验是对生活情景的抽象,这种抽象以自悟的形式在生活中积累下来。但生活经验不能完全代替数学学习经验,学生将生活经验上升到数学知识,这一点对于某些学生来说还有一定的困难,不能一概而论。比如
Mathematics comes from life and serves life.
