I am an aircraft designer. In many years of scientific and technological activities, I often have opportunities for foreign exchanges. Students who have graduated to work in our institution often ask me how to improve their oral English. Most of them have a certain ability to read, but they are asked to speak in English on a topic. Some of them are inaccurate in pronunciation, some are not standardized, and some are stuck. It can be seen that receiving information from other people is one thing, and that it is another matter that one can convey information fluently to others. When they came to ask me, I didn’t teach it specifically. I just told them about my “one, two, three” language skills, namely, a context, two levels, and three checkpoints. I think that improving my spoken language needs self-requirements. It is important to practice on my own. My method is just one of the words, but people who have done it in my own way have achieved quite a good degree.
