In his opinion, the exhibition's professional lighting is not a simple solution to a luminous problem, but to express a kind of artistic concept through the creative medium of “light”. This in turn involves specific aesthetic standards that require in-depth cooperation between lighting (technology) designers and artists and curators. Good lighting design is an important part of guaranteeing the visual quality of art exhibitions. However, the important relationship between lighting and art exhibitions, and the rational use of the value and significance of exhibitions, are rarely discussed. This issue of “Pictorial” interview with Liu Hongjian, hoping to deepen the reader's attention and understanding of the work in this area.
