在贵州省,红黄壤上的水田中塝瘦田占稻田的60％左右,一般肥力不高,水稻产量很低,一年一熟,冬季为炕冬,稻谷亩产200—300斤。平坝县路塘公社向塘生产大队老寨队对塝瘦田利用与改良有一定经验,并取得了稳产丰收,现将调查结果简报如下: 一、塝瘦田在耕地及产量中的位置 平坝县路塘公社向塘生产大队老寨生产队,海拔约1270米,年平均气温15.1℃,无霜期280天,全年降雨量1273.5毫米,雨季多集中5—6月,冬春常干旱。全队现有集体耕地315亩(习惯亩,相当丈量亩140％),全力稻田,常年每亩产水稻平均600斤,其中坝田占总面积42.6％,绝大部分为一、二等田,每亩平均产量为820斤,坝田冬季除留出五十多亩炕冬做秧田外,其余都复种上油菜、小麦、大麦及苕子等小春作
