教师——人类智慧的开拓者,肩负着为社会主义培养人材的历史重任。为了完成这一光荣的使命,需要具有多方面的知识和能力,其一就是知人善教。“知人”是对人的深刻了解,是“善教”的前提;“善教”表现为对人的尊重和恰当的教育方法,二者的结合就能使教育工作事半功倍。这个教育的一般规律也横遭“四人帮”践踏,至今余毒尚存,如教育工作上的“大锅烩”、“成人化”、形式主义等就是。我们要想搞好教育、教学工作,就必须研究和了解青少年学生的年令特征。青少年期(十二、三岁——十七、八岁)相当于初、高中阶段。这是一个过渡期,即由少年向成年过渡,在此期间,青少年的身心发展都起着急剧的变化。总的说是:既带有童年的痕迹(孩子气),也出现了成人的萌芽(小大人)。新中国的青少年的年令特征,指的是在社会主义的生活条件和教育条
Teachers, the pioneers of human wisdom, shoulder the historic task of training human resources for socialism.
