The Cut of the Earth · “Black Box” Intentions - Approaching 7.31 Creations and Reflections on the Exhibition Gallery UED: At the moment of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, your latest piece of work is 7.31 , Can we briefly introduce it? Ni Yang: 7.31 Proof of display of evidence The design of the new museum is very simple, it is inserted in the form of a black square box into a semi-subsidence square, and then through the two axes will square The box was cut open, with one axis pointing to the entrance booth and the other pointing to the exit - a chimney to eliminate evidence, alluding to the process by which the “731” was tested from birth to death. The original site has a reserved headquarters headquarters, in front of an open square. Based on this, we chose to design this new pavilion in the open space on the eastern side of the square with no ruins.
