[Objective] To understand the self-rated health condition of college students in non-medical colleges and non-medical colleges and their difference between them, and to provide a reference for carrying out the health education and health management of undergraduates. [Methods] A total of 1,600 undergraduates from two colleges were sampled by self-rated health assessment scale (SRHMS V1.0) and SPSS 20.0 software was used for data analysis. [Results] The final score of SRHMS was divided into (71.82 ± 10.32) points in two college students, among which self-rated physiological health status was better (80.09 ± 10.34), self-test mental health and social health status were worse 70 points). There were significant differences in SRHMS scores, scores of physical health subscale and mental health subscale between medical schools and non-medical colleges (P <0.05), which were better than non-medical schools Institutions. [Conclusion] The overall self-rated health status of both institutions is better, but the final scores of mental health and social health are lower, and the psychological and social health of college students should be the focus of attention in the future. The self- Health status is significantly better than non-medical college students, especially in mental health, we should further strengthen the special health education of college students, improve the health management mechanism of college students.
