In the summer of 2014, assigned by the school, I had the privilege of attending the AFS program for primary and secondary school work and exchange visits to New Zealand, and 13 other teachers from the provincial model high schools across the country to the “Heaven in Earth” in the Southern Hemisphere. new Zealand. New Zealand is a developed agriculture and animal husbandry country in the South Pacific. The majority of the residents are British immigrants and a few are indigenous Maori. For historical reasons, New Zealand’s education was a completely British version. After World War II, New Zealand’s education incorporated many of the advanced elements of the United States and the Pacific Rim countries. In the early 1990s, with the socio-economic development, New Zealand’s education has undergone a major transformation, showing the characteristics of comprehensiveness, daily life, and the importance of individual character development.
