本文同时引入了市场潜能和市场分割,将Krugman的“母市场理论”与中国的出口现象结合起来,结果发现,市场潜能和市场分割对出口的影响呈现出一种U型的非线性关系。即当市场潜能较小且市场分割较大时,市场潜能的进一步缩小会促进企业被动出口;当市场潜能大且市场分割小的时候,市场潜能的扩大也会促进出口增加,但此时企业首先可以在国内市场实现规模经济,进而会主动积极出口。当市场潜能较小时,市场分割的加剧也会促进企业被动出口;当市场潜能较大时,市场分割的减弱也会促进企业主动出口。
This paper also introduces the market potential and market segmentation. By combining Krugman ’s “mother market theory ” with the phenomenon of China ’ s exports, we find that the influence of market potential and market segmentation on exports shows a U - shaped nonlinear relationship . That is, when the market potential is smaller and the market is more segmented, the further reduction of market potential will promote the passive export of enterprises. When the market potential is large and the market segmentation is small, the expansion of market potential will also promote the export growth. However, It is possible to achieve economies of scale in the domestic market, and then take the initiative to actively export. When the market potential is small, the increase of market segmentation will also promote the passive export of enterprises. When the market potential is greater, the weakening of market segmentation will also promote the export of enterprises.
