一、西部贫困地区英语教学存在的主要问题1.西部贫困地区的教学条件比较落后。受种种条件的制约,学生学习英语的启蒙阶段发端较迟。教学条件好,师资水平高的地区,学生从小就能正规地开设英语课,教学效果也好,学生到中学后学习相对轻松;而很多贫困地区的办学条件极差,没有多媒体教室,相关的听力设备也没有;而且还极其缺乏专业的英语教师队伍,无法较早地开始对学生进行专业化的指导。2.学生的英语水平良莠不齐。学生进入中学后,个体成绩差异较大。我们班农村来的孩子,普遍连英语基础都没有,不会读音标,不会拼单词。教师一旦用英语进行课堂教学,学生们完全听不懂,不得不用汉语组织教学。这也给
