During the “decade of turmoil,” qualitative analysis teaching was criticized as a theoretical deviation from the actual revisionist teaching line, and it has since been chopped off. Today, with the restoration of teaching order, how to deal with qualitative analysis has been mentioned on the agenda. Many comrades believe that due to the limitation of the number of hours of study, we can only combine inorganic chemistry and learn the identification reactions of some common ions to make up for this deficiency. We believe that the purpose of learning qualitative analysis is not only to know the identification methods of several types of ions, but more importantly, to learn through qualitative analysis so that students can become familiar with the basic reactions of common ions.
