小学生年龄较小,语言表达能力较弱,具有较强的感性思维,喜欢用图画将自己内心的想法表达出来,因此会对绘本有着一定的偏爱。在小学英语课堂中应用绘本教学,能够使课堂教学更具趣味性,丰富教学内容,拓展学生视野,使学生能够进一步理解教材上的内容。绘本中的文本内容简短灵活,能够使小学生的口语能力得到提升。由此可见,将绘本教学应用于小学英语课堂教学中具有举足轻重的作用,不仅能够加强学生对知识的理解,还能够激发学生对英语学习的欲
Pupils are young, have weak language skills, have strong emotional thinking, and like to use pictures to express their own inner thoughts. Therefore, they will have a certain preference for picture books. The application of pictorial teaching in the primary English classroom can make the classroom teaching more interesting, enriching the teaching content, expanding the students’ horizons and enabling students to further understand the contents of the textbooks. The text in the picture book is short and flexible, enabling the pupils’ speaking ability to be improved. Thus it can be seen that the application of pictorial teaching in primary English classroom teaching plays an important role not only in enhancing students ’understanding of knowledge but also in stimulating students’ desire for English learning
