新时期英语教育快速发展,英语专业课程也随之面临新一轮的改革。《英语泛读》旨在培养英语专业学生四大基本技能之一的阅读能力,其教学改革应充分考虑时代特征,还要注意到课程本身的特点和规律。文章从提高英语阅读能力的基础、关键、保障三方面分析了英语泛读改革的方向和思路,并且使其在教学中得到了应用。
In the new era of rapid development of English education, English majors also face a new round of reform. “English Extensive Reading” aims to cultivate the reading ability of one of the four basic skills of English majors. The teaching reform should fully consider the characteristics of the times and pay attention to the characteristics and laws of the courses themselves. The article analyzes the direction and train of thought of English extensive reading reform from three aspects: the basis, the key and the guarantee of improving English reading ability, and makes it be applied in teaching.
