城市外宣是展示城市形象和发展形势的载体,外宣翻译在城市对外交流中具有重要意义。本文以杭州外宣文本为例,以目的论为指导,通过分析其宣传目的和翻译事例,提出城市外宣翻译要采用增译、减译、转换的方法,进行灵活处理,使译文更符合目标读者的表达和思维习惯,易于阅读。
City outreach is a vehicle to show the city’s image and development situation, and foreign propaganda translation is of great significance in the city’s foreign exchange. Taking Hangzhou Outpost as an example, with the help of Skopos Theory, this paper analyzes the purpose of publicity and the examples of translation.
