Today Beijing City has been unconsciously surrounded by various supermarkets, supermarkets shelves on the array of goods, more and more people began to adapt to self-service shopping, and State-owned shops, by ticket shopping, bulk Ma Jiang, Bulk soy sauce, vinegar seems to have become memories of the scene. Located at No. 67 Zhao Fu Street, Dongcheng District, an old non-staple food store is like a living specimen of that era. It is hidden in a quiet and narrow alley and stands in stark contrast to the gulou Avenue where traffic flows and people come and go. In this simple, old-fashioned grocery store, Li Ruisheng, an almost 60-year-old shop assistant, tells the story of a gradually forgotten life.
