Many say that the Universe moves in never-ending cycles – cycles of life and death, cycles of war and peace, cycles of light and darkness.
If that were true, then the lands of the Etherian knights had known peace for too long. Their kingdom had been quiet and 1)prosperous for many years.
But soon, that part of the cycle would end, and another would begin...
人们都说，宇宙的运行就是永无休止的周而复始——生与死的循环，战争与和平的循环，光明与黑暗的循环。
如果这种说法是对的，那么阿加瑞亚的骑士们所在的这片大地也和平得太久了。多年来，他们的王国一直安定宁静、繁荣兴盛。
但是很快，循环的这一部分即将结束，另一个轮回将要开始……
These days, games are hardly lasting. Sure I buy games, only to sell them a week later because either I beat it and there’s no reason to go back and play them again, or that just isn’t a game for me. Then I met Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. It is, by any means, one of those rare games that come along every decade which, when you play it, you say, “Damn it! Why didn’t I think of that?!”
2)Essentially, it’s 3)Bejeweled with a 4)twist. Of course, puzzle games are fun, but most are like 5)chewing gum: they lose their flavor fast. Who would have thought to combine a puzzle game with a role-playing game? The folks at 6)D3 did. Within just one and a half years, from PC to Xbox, their creativity turned out to be a huge success.
The great thing about Puzzle Quest is that it can be enjoyed by everyone. Casual players will dig the addictiveness注 puzzle battles while 7)hardcore gamers will 8)get a kick out of raising their own characters. Another feature of the game is – if you lose a battle, you can return to the fight again and again until you win. I don’t know if this sounds nice to you. I find it really depressing from time to time, because some 9)opponents are just impossible to beat. Well,
perhaps not impossible, but beating them is more 10)reliant on luck. Then, alas, when most of my magic is 11)drained, I have 5 12)HP left, and the losing
tune is going on and on, it feels like I’m attending a funeral with my character as the guest of honor!
Unless you hate fun and addictive games, it should be a crime not to try Puzzle Quest. Or, maybe you don’t own a PC, DS, PSP, PS2, Wii or Xbox? Seriously, if you don’t have any of those, how can you ever call yourself a gamer?
如今的游戏都不大耐玩了。我的确还会买游戏，但也只是隔了一个星期就把它们转手卖掉，不是因为爆机之后再也没有回头重温一遍的理由，就是因为那个游戏根本不符合我的口味。后来我遇到了《益智之谜：战神的挑战》。无论从任何方面来说，它都是那种每十年难得一见的罕见游戏，让你在玩的时候忍不住说：“该死！为什么我就没想到这一点？！”
从本质上而言，这个游戏就是《宝石迷阵》的变化体。没错，“连连看”游戏相当有趣，但大多像嚼口香糖似的，很快便会索然无味。又有谁能想到将它与角色扮演游戏结合到一起呢？D3的制作人员做到了。仅仅用了一年半时间，他们的创意就取得了巨大成功，游戏平台从个人电脑延伸到Xbox。
《益智之谜》的一大好处就是任何人都能玩。一般玩家可以在“连连看”式的战斗中流连忘返，死忠玩家则能在角色养成中获得极大的乐趣。游戏的另一个特色就是，如果在比试中落败，你可以不断重复战斗，直到获胜为止。我不知道这对你来说是不是一个好消息，我自己则时不时会被这一点搞得相当郁闷，因为有些对手简直无法击败。喔，也许不是完全没有办法，但要打败它们靠的更多是运气。然后，天啊，当我几乎耗掉所有魔力，生命值只剩下5点，而即将战败的背景音乐不断回响的时候，那感觉简直就像在参加一场葬礼，而葬礼的嘉宾正是自己的角色！
除非你讨厌有趣又让人上瘾的游戏，否则不到《益智之谜》中一试身手简直太罪过了。又或者你没有个人电脑，没有DS，没有PSP，没有PS2，没有Wii，也没有Xbox？老实说，如果以上这些平台你都没有，你还怎能自称玩家啊？

传统RPG情节＋连连看回合制打怪＋日系漫画风人设＋“魔戒”般的史诗音乐……《益智之谜》完美地揉合了我们熟悉的各种元素。这个业界公认的“2007年最有创意的游戏之一”据说会在这个六月推出续作《银河矩阵》，从魔幻转为科幻风哦。而Wendy最近则彻底萌上了某条大路上不定时闪过的帅帅狮鹫，连打到75％的第一章主线任务都丢在一边到处游荡，希望快点把它抓回家当坐骑，咔咔～～
