教幼儿理解加、减法的初步意义是学习计算的基础,是解答加、减法应用题的基础,是《纲要》中规定的计算教育的任务之一。怎样教幼儿理解这一初步意义,我们认为可从以下几个方面着手。一、从丰富的感知材料中让幼儿建立加、减法运算的表象在建立加、减法运算的表象中,加法是重点;教加法运算时重点又应放在什么是“合并”、“运算”等新知识上。教学时,首先应让幼儿从实际操作中来感知,如给每个幼儿准备两个纸袋,一个内装5粒扣子,另一个内装3粒扣子,问两个纸袋一共装了多少粒扣子?怎么计算呢?要幼儿把第二个纸袋内的3粒扣子倒入第一个纸袋内,并告诉幼儿,这就是把两个纸袋内的扣子数合并在一起,可以求两个纸袋内共装多少
