由宁夏社会科学院主办,银川市人民政府、西北第二民族学院、宁夏人民出版社、宁夏博物馆、沙湖旅游集团和圣雪绒国际企业集团协办的第二届西夏学国际学术研讨会(The Second InternationalSymposium on xixia Study)于2005年8月16-19日在宁夏银川隆重举行。会议由我院院长吴海鹰主持,院党组书记齐岳做主题报告。这次研讨会得到了宁夏自治区党委、政府的大力支持,自治区人大、政协的有关领导也出席了开幕式并做了重要讲话。这次大型国际学术研讨会,是西夏学界的一次盛会,共收到82位海内外专家学者提交的77篇论文,出席这次会议的140多位专家、学者和来宾,分别来自俄罗斯、日本等国家和台湾地区及内地各省市。四川省阿坝州羌族学会的30多位专家学者与政府官员在省民委副主任蔡世勤先生、阿坝州副州长谷云龙先生带领下,参加了这次会议。西夏学是一门新兴的仅有100多年历史的国际“显学”,在中国学术文化史上占有重要的地位。但是,由于文献湮没和汉文史料的记载不翔实,这样一个重要的王朝成为“被遗忘的王朝”。从20世纪初黑水城西夏文献出土以来,西夏研究受到国内外学者的注意。今天,西夏学已经发展成一门独立的综合性学科,并拥有独立的研究机构和一批从事西夏学研究的专家学者。在这个过程中,宁夏作为西夏故地和西夏研究的重镇,起了积极的推动作用。1995年,首届西夏学
The Second International Symposium on Xixia Studies (The Second Second) co-organized by Ningxia Academy of Social Sciences, Yinchuan Municipal People’s Government, Northwest Second National Institute, Ningxia People’s Publishing House, Ningxia Museum, Shahu Tourism Group and Shengrongrong International Enterprise Group International Symposium on xixia Study was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia on August 16-19, 2005. The meeting was presided over by Wu Haiying, Dean of the Academy, and Party Secretary Yue Qi made a keynote speech. The seminar received strong support from the party committees and governments of Ningxia Autonomous Region. The relevant leaders of the NPC and CPPCC also attended the opening ceremony and made important speeches. This large-scale international symposium was a grand gathering of Xixia academic circles and received a total of 77 papers submitted by 82 domestic and foreign experts and scholars. More than 140 experts, scholars and guests attended the conference, from Russia, Japan, etc. Countries and Taiwan and the Mainland provinces and cities. More than 30 experts, scholars and government officials from the Qiang Association of Aba Prefecture in Sichuan Province attended the meeting under the leadership of Mr. Cai Shikin, Deputy Director of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Commission, and Mr. Gu Yunlong, Vice Governor of Aba Prefecture. Xixia Studies is an emerging “significant study” with only 100 years of history, occupying an important position in the history of Chinese academic culture. However, an important dynasty became “a forgotten dynasty” because of the annihilation of the literature and the incomplete account of Chinese historical materials. Since the early twentieth century Heishui City, Western Xia Documents unearthed, Xixia research by scholars at home and abroad. Today, Xixia studies have developed into an independent and comprehensive discipline, and have independent research institutions and a group of experts and scholars engaged in the study of Xixia studies.
