为了使自己能跟上形势发展的步伐,在试用新教材的过程中,不仅努力将交际能力的训练贯穿整个教学过程,也对提高学生外语记忆的效率作了一些探索。我们要向效率要时间,而不是用时间补效率。只有这样,才能既减轻学生负担,又提高教学质量。这是我们英语教师必须认真研究的课题。以新奇的方式呈现新知识,深化感知印象要提高学生外语记忆的效率,就要使教学活动更加符合心理学规律。心理实验证明:人最初感知印象的深浅,关系到记忆的速度和牢固程度。最初的印象深刻,记忆就快,也会记得牢。根据这一原理,教师在课堂上应尽力使学生对所要记忆的知识形成深刻的印象,为长久记忆打下基础。为此,我在教学过程中精心设计
In order to keep pace with the development of the situation, in the process of trying new textbooks, not only efforts have been made to train communicative competence throughout the entire teaching process, but also to make some explorations to improve students’ efficiency of foreign language memory. We must spend time on efficiency rather than on time. Only in this way can we both reduce the burden on students and improve the quality of teaching. This is a topic that we English teachers must seriously study. In order to present new knowledge in a novel manner and deepen the perception of impression to improve the efficiency of students’ foreign language memory, teaching activities should be more in line with the laws of psychology. The psychological experiment proves that the depth of the perception of the person’s initial impression is related to the speed and firmness of the memory. The initial impression is deep, memory is fast, and it is remembered. According to this principle, teachers should make every effort in the classroom to enable students to form a deep impression on the knowledge they want to remember and lay a foundation for long-term memory. For this reason, I designed it carefully during the teaching process.
