In the French literary world, the noisy “novel” tended to be quiet in the 1990s, and the “new fictional” literary genre boasted a clean face. “New Fiction ” objected to the traditional literary creation concept of depicting and reflecting reality, refusing to subordinate fiction to reality, emphasizing fictional freedom and attaching importance to imagination, and advocating a transcendence of “Dualistic literary creation. Milan Kundera focuses on fictionalization and imagination in fiction writing, integrating more and more elements of dreamland, fantasy and mythology into his narrative strategy with obvious ”new fictional“ colors. This article attempts to explain the literary proposition and creative features of ”New Fictionalization“ in conjunction with Kundera’s novels. ”New Fiction " possesses the aesthetics characteristic of the postmodern novel, and is also a coincidental choice of many contemporary writers in the process of exploring novel creation.
