从一九五四年,我們即以教学为中心內容開展了教育視察工作。一年多來,曾先後組織了幹部二七三人次(不包括邀請的学校行政領導和教師在內),視察了中等学校四○餘所(其中有的去过三——四次)和三六縣縣屬的部分小学。通过視察工作我們先後發出了“關於改進和提高中学語文教学質量的指示”、“關於改進和提高數学教学質量的意見”、“克服教学中的資產階級思想”、“在語文、數学教学中如何贯徹全面發展教育方針的經驗”等文件。(改進和提高小学語文教学質量的指示,尚正在討論中)。另外,还編發了語文、數理化教学經驗交流的小册子二本。因而推動了学校的工作,使学校更加重視了对中央的教育方針政策的贯徹。视察的開展为開展教育视察工作,我們首先在领導工作方面作了一些改進。过去公文处理,是採取人人办稿、領導層層審批的办法。其结果是領導同志和一般幹部,
