October 18-21 this year, China Association for Science and Technology held its first academic annual meeting in Hangzhou. This is the largest academic symposium ever held since the founding of China Association for Science and Technology. The main leaders attending the meeting were: Vice Chairman of NPC Standing Committee, Academician Zhou Guangzhao, Chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, Member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Comrade Zhang Yu Tai, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Comrade Zhang Dejiang, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee.
