【摘要】本文着重探讨初三英语写作的综合训练方法,并就看图写话、电话留言、写请假条、写书信和写日记等分别提供了任务设计的示例。

学生经过初一和初二年级的写作训练,到初三时已基本熟悉了应用文的题材,此时的教学重点应是引导学生巩固、提高和运用已初步掌握的写作技能。本人采用了任务型教学的思路,在一堂初三英语综合写作课上,以“A snowy winter”(见图1)为题材,进行了具体的任务设计,并取得了比较理想的教学效果。
该综合写作训练课的任务目标是:要求学生根据教师提供的图画和关键词写一段话,进一步掌握和巩固电话留言、请假条、信件和日记等应用文的写作方法。
任务1:读图并写故事
教师先呈现图像,画面上出现孩子们玩雪、滑冰的情景,学生仔细观察画面,了解其大意。接着,教师采用问答形式对学生进行启发和引导,并提供以下关键词:on a winter morning,be covered with,make a snowman,throw snowballs,…
T:What season is it?
SS:It’s winter.
T:Yes,What are the children doing?
S1:Some are skating,Some are playing with the snow.
S2:Some are making a big snowman,Some are throwing snowballs.
T:Excellent,Is the ice thick enough?Are they good at skating?Would you like to talk more about the picture?
教师将学生分为四人一组,并让他们根据所呈现的画面和关键词进行讨论;然后各组派代表讲述图中的要点;最后,各组再根据其他组同学的反馈意见和教师的讲评进行修改,写成文章的第一部分:
On a winter morning,everything is covered with snow and the land is all white,Look!The children are playing in the park,Some are skating,Some are making a big snowman,Others are throwing snowballs,How happy they are!
接下来,教师引导学生猜测故事的发展,并续写故事:一个男孩滑倒了,其它几个孩子马上过去扶他,但他伤得很重,必须立刻送医院。
T:What will happen late?
S3:Someone may fall down.
T:How smart you are!Look,a boy is falling down,What are the others doing?
S4:They are going to help him stand up.
T:Can Li Ming stand up?
Ss:No.
T:What should they do?
S5:They should take him to hospital at once.
S6:I think they must call his mother first.
T:Yes,He must be taken to hospital at once,Please say something about the whole story,(key words:fall down,be badly hurt,be taken to hospital)
学生经过分组讨论,最终形成了一个完整的故事:
On a winter morning everything is covered with snow...How happy they are!
Suddenly Li Ming falls down .His friends come to help him stand up,But he can’t move,He is badly hurt,So he must be taken to hospital at once,And one of his friends is calling his mother.
任务2:写电话留言
T:Now Li Ming is in hospital,He can’t go to school tomorrow,He has to ask for leave.
画面切成换成:李明躺在医院里(见图2),他母亲正在给老师打电话(见图3)。
T:Li Ming has to be in hospital for a week,Now his mother is making a telephone call to his teacher Miss Zhao,But she isn’t in,Mr.Hu takes the message,If you were Mr.Hu,please write a telephone message.
任务3:写请假条
T:Suppose you were Li Ming,please write a note of asking for leave to your teacher.

Dear Miss Zhao,
I’m sorry to ask you for leave for about two weeks because my right leg was badly hurt while I was skating yesterday morning,I’ll work hard at my lessons,Please don’t worry about me.
