赶上娃娃脸热潮
大家好!我是嘉玛·沃德，来自澳大利亚，今年刚满19岁。
Hello, everyone! I am Gemma Ward and come from Australia, only 19-year - old this year.
漂亮的嘴唇、大大的绿色的眼睛、柔嫩干净仿如外星人的俏脸——没错，那就是我，娃娃般的脸颊让我成为引领“娃娃脸”潮流的红星。你可以在各种秀场上看到我，超级名牌也以我的出场为荣。记不清我到底当了多少杂志的封面女郎。
Beautiful lips, big green eyes, soft and clean pretty face as a ET—well, that's me, my doll-liken cheek lets me be the hot star leading "baby face" trend. You can see me in all kinds of shows, and super brands regard my arriving as their honor. I cannot remember how many cover girls I've been for magazines.
被PK也能崭露头角
2002年，15岁的我参加了佩斯市举办的超级模特选秀活动，虽然所有人都认为我非常可爱，可我却连第一轮的初赛都没通过。幸运的是，从小我就学习表演，所以在比赛中我表现得从容自如，再加上自己令人过目不忘的模样，很多人还是注意到了我。从此，我开始收到一些著名摄影师的邀约。
In 2002, when I was fifteen, I took part in a super model picking show held by the city Perth, though people all thought I was very lovely, I did not pass the first round. Luckily, I studied acting from childhood, so I acted easiness and freely in it, besides, my face was unforgettable, many people noticed me after all. From then on, I began to get the invitations from some famous photographers.
一路令人艳羡的成长
我是申顿学院毕业的，也是模特圈里被《时尚》选中拍片中最年轻的一个。“一路上有很多人帮助我，比如某些摄影师。”我喜欢这样说。我从不觉得自己特别漂亮，成功完全是因“时尚的轮回”，也许换个时间出道，我就未必会如此受欢迎了。
I am a former student of Shenton College, who was also the youngest model chosen to be in a Vogue shoot in the modeling world. "Lots of people helped me, such as some photographers." I like saying so. I never think myself so pretty, the success is totally because of a "coming back of fashion", I may not be so popular for another time.
最满意自己之处
“一定是身体的某个部位吗？可不可以是精神或其他方面？” 我曾对记者说：“我满意的不只是身体或长相，还有年纪轻轻就能取得如此的成绩。”在模特行业里谋生一开始是非常艰难的，因为我要和不同地域、不同文化背景的人打交道。能自如应对，是我引以为豪的事。
"Must it be a part of body, but spirit or others?" I used to tell a reporter, "I am satisfied not only with my body or face, but also my such successes at a young age." Earning a living in model field is very hard at the beginning, because I have to contact with people from different countries and cultures. I am proud of myself to meet them freely.
完美的家庭生活
我是爸爸加里·沃德和妈妈克莱尔的第二个女儿，姐姐索菲也是一名模特。奥斯卡和亨利是我的一对双胞胎弟弟。我们一家目前住在纽约。
I am the second daughter of Gary Ward and his wife Claire, and my elder sister Sophie is also a model. Oscar and Henry are my younger twin brothers. We live in New York now.
未来不一定做演员
我对表演充满了激情，曾和一些澳大利亚导演合作过。但是，我以后的职业生涯不一定要做演员，让一切顺其自然吧。模特这个职业很难预测，我还会尝试去做更多事情。我一直是个好学生。我希望将来能回到学校完成学业，因为我喜欢挑战！
I'm passionate in acting, and ever worked together with some Australian directors. However, becoming an actress will not necessary be my career later, just let it go. The job as a model is hard to predict, so I should try to do more things. I am always an excellent student. I hope I would go back to school to finish my study in the future, because I like the challenge!
