说起尿路感染,人们不妨会想到尿频、尿急、尿痛、排尿困难等膀胱刺激症状,然而在临床上有些老年妇女有一种特殊类型的尿路感染,即患者虽有菌尿,但却无尿频、尿痛、尿急表现,此种尿路感染在医学上称之为“无症状菌尿”。无症状菌尿多发于60岁以上的中老年妇女,据统计,该症占尿路感染病人总数的17％,因该症多无膀胱刺激症状和其它异常表现,故容易被人们所忽视,从而得不到早期诊断和治疗,致使该症隐匿地破坏肾脏,久之使肾脏疤痕形成,出现少尿、夜尿及全身乏力等肾功能减退症状,病情若进一步发展,可使患者继发严重的尿毒症而危及生命,故应引起老年妇女们的高度重视。
