大量阅读课外书是提高语文水平的重要途径。吕叔湘先生曾说过,他学习语文,三分得益于课内,七分得益于课外。不但如此,大量阅读课外书还可以开阔视野,陶冶情操,催人奋进。朱永新曾说过:“一个多读书的人,其视野必然开阔,其志向必然高远,其追求必然执着。”课外阅读历来受到学校和家长的重视。不少学校大力倡导学生进行课外阅读,关于学生课外阅读的论文亦常见诸教育类报刊杂志。但总体而言,学生课外阅读效果并不理想。笔者认为,主要有两个原因:一是没能真正激发学生的阅读兴趣,学生不能坚持阅读;二是教师不能准确掌握学生的阅读情况和阅读效果,以至于教师在要求学生时不能有的放矢。
Extensive reading of extra-curricular books is an important way to improve language proficiency. Not only that, reading a lot of extra-curricular books can also broaden their horizons, cultivate sentiments and inspiring. Zhu Yongxin once said: “A person who reads more books has to broaden his horizons and his aspirations must be lofty. His pursuit is inevitably persistent.” Extracurricular reading has always been valued by schools and parents. Many schools advocate students to extra-curricular reading, essay on student extracurricular reading is also commonly found in educational newspapers and magazines. However, overall, students’ extra-curricular reading results are not satisfactory. The author believes that there are two main reasons: First, students can not really stimulate interest in reading, students can not insist on reading; Second, teachers can not accurately grasp the reading of students and reading effect, so that teachers can not be targeted when asked students.
