Long jump and high jump are familiar two field events, they are from the “run - take off - vacate - landing” in these four parts. This is what these two sports have in common. If we look closely at it or do it in person, it is easy to see that these four parts are not exactly the same again. The most obvious difference is on the run: long jumps require longer run lengths (about 30-40 meters for adults) and try to exert the running speed on straight runs; while jumping requires shorter run lengths (about 10 meters) Running speed should not be too large, and according to different positions, respectively, straight or curved run. So, how does the runway help long jump and high jump? Why there is a big difference between the two lengths? The so-called run-off refers to the run-off that must be carried out before jumping for a certain distance. This run will help jump, so, to be precise, the run should be called jump jump.
