In the 4th century BC, scholars represented by Aristotle believed that heavy objects must have fallen faster than light objects. This view has been regarded as truth for nearly two thousand years until the 17th century. The physicist Galerino was overthrown. In today’s science classrooms, the teacher’s strategy for teaching this knowledge is often to ask the question first: which of the heavy objects and light objects falls quickly?
