Beijing Olympic organizers have added Grammy-winning music producer Quincy Jones to the roster of star arts consultants for the opening and closing ceremony of the 2008 Games.
北京奥运会组织人员已经把获得格莱美奖的音乐制作人昆西·琼斯加入到了2008奥运会开幕式和闭幕式的艺术顾问组的明星名单中。
Jones, a 26- time Grammy Awards winner, joins a creation team that includes Hollywood film- maker Steven Spielberg and fellow Oscar- winning director Ang Lee, the Beijing Organizing Committee (BOCOG) said. Renowned Chinese director Zhang Yimou will serve as chief director for the opening and closing ceremonies.
据北京组委会称：琼斯——26次格莱美奖的获得者，加入到了创作组中，该组还包括好莱坞电影制作人史蒂温· 斯皮尔伯格及其同事奥斯卡获奖导演李安。著名的中国导演张艺谋将担任开幕式和闭幕式的总导演。
In a musical career that has spanned six decades; the 73- year- old Jones has earned his reputation as a renaissance man of American music. He has distinguished himself as a bandleader, a songwriter, a producer, an arrangerand a film composer, and outside of music, he's also written books, produced major motion pictures, and helped create television series.
