横尺视距法测距,是一种精度介于普通视距法与普通钢尺量距两者之间的间接测距方法。在当前尚缺乏精度高的测距仪(例如蔡司002视距仪、视差法横基尺、现代激光测距仪等),尤其是目前国内各测绘生产单位和各大、中专院校的测量教学单位,还在大量采用普通视距法进行测距的情况下,有关对横尺视距法的主要问题进行研讨,仍然具有一定的现实意义。采用本法测距,同样可以克服各种复杂地形障碍,达到快速测距的目的。本法的特点是:
