Currently, only a few laboratories have conducted cytogenetic studies on salivary gland tumors and are mainly directed against benign tumors. Only a few reports on the cytogenetic characteristics of other salivary gland tumors have been reported. To this end the author conducted a study. Materials and Methods 14 cases of salivary gland tumors, of which 9 cases were benign, including 8 cases of pleomorphic adenoma (PA), 1 case of Warthin's tumor, 5 cases of malignant, including 1 case of cancer in pleomorphic adenoma, 2 cases of adenoma Cystic cancers (one from the breast), one basal adenocarcinoma, and one adenocarcinoma. All specimens were cultured in tissue cells and subjected to conventional cytogenetics using standard cytogenetics - GTG-banding technique (ie, trypsin G-banding and Giemsa staining). Fluorescent sites
