液压支架的性能与它所支护的顶板岩层相适应是经济和安全生产的基本因素。所用支架不合适必然会发生影响生产的各种事故,可能会使工作面冒落碎石,局部冒顶或整个采区顶板垮落。正确的支护应能控制住顶板岩层并适应岩层的各种运动。支护在任何情况下都不应当向顶板岩层施加不恰当的载荷而使它发生运动。另一个影响支护的重要因素是对支架的操作使用。众所周知,移架频繁会造成“顶板疲劳”,使其碎裂;选用支架不当也会降低生产效率和经济效益甚至停产。只有维护好顶板才能避免事故,进行均衡的正常生产。
