In order to correct the guiding ideology of running schools and strengthen the service consciousness and purpose consciousness of the teaching, we conducted a survey of the characteristics of the rural primary schools in several counties in northwest of Huaiyin and the work situation of our graduates in the second half of 1987 to the first half of 1988. Through investigation and analysis, we have conducted targeted explorations and reflections in the practice of teaching reform. I.
