南非是南部非洲最大的消费市场,在经贸领域与我国有很强的互补性。开拓南非市场是我国市场多元化战略的重要一环。中南两国恢复直接经贸关系以来,双边经贸合作取得了丰硕成果,显示出进一步发展的巨大潜力。但由于我国同南非开展直接经贸合作的历史还较短,在中南经贸合作中难免出现一定的的问题。南非是我国在非洲的第一大贸易伙伴,中南贸易额占我国对非洲贸易总额的1/5强,相互投资迅猛发展,但远未充分发挥出两国经济互补的优势,2002年中南双边贸易额仅占南非对外贸易总额的4.5%。两国经贸合作要走上健康、协调的良性发展轨道尚需做出艰苦的努力。为了使中南经贸关系进一步顺利地向前发展,必须正视目前面临的问题,并及时采取对策,加以解决。
South Africa is the largest consumer market in southern Africa and has strong complementarities with our country in the area of economy and trade. To open up the South African market is an important part of our market diversification strategy. Since the restoration of direct economic and trade relations between China and South Africa, bilateral economic and trade cooperation has achieved fruitful results and shows great potential for further development. However, due to the relatively short history of China’s direct economic and trade cooperation with South Africa, certain problems inevitably arise in the economic and trade cooperation between China and South Africa. South Africa is China’s largest trading partner in Africa. Sino-South trade volume accounts for one fifth of China’s total trade volume with Africa. Mutual investment is growing rapidly, but its advantages are far from being fully realized. In 2002, bilateral trade between China and South Africa Only 4.5% of South Africa’s total foreign trade. The economic and trade cooperation between the two countries still needs to make painstaking efforts if it is to embark on a healthy and coordinated path of sound development. In order to further promote the smooth progress of the economic and trade relations between South Africa and China, we must face up to the problems we are facing and take prompt measures to solve them.
