笔者在报刊上获悉:不少高中学生甚至大学生在学习英语时,自己不能习惯于通过查词典学习新词的发音,仍然依赖于教师的领读或录音示范来模仿,然后死记硬背,句子层面的语音更不理想,遇到长句子不知道在何处停顿,也不清楚什么时候用升调,什么时候用降调,更谈不上辅音连缀、失去爆破等知识。这样就会给他们的自主学习带来不小的困难。
The author was informed in the press that many high school students and even undergraduates are not accustomed to learning the pronunciation of new words through the dictionary when they are learning English. They still rely on the teacher’s reading or recording demonstrations to imitate them, and then memorize the sentences with sentence levels. The speech is even more unsatisfactory. I don’t know where to stop when I encounter a long sentence. I don’t know when I’ll use it and when I’m going to use a tone, let alone consonant and loss of blasting. This will give them no difficulty in self-directed learning.
