Step 1:Warm up
1.sing a song “The wheels on the bus”.
T:Can you sing it with me? Well,the wheels on the bus go all around our city.So we will learn Project 1 Around our city today.
T:There are so many places around our city.What are they?Let’s enjoy a short video.
2.watch a short video.
T: What are the places around our city in the video?
S: Bank,post office,bookshop,museum,restaurant,supermarket,hospital,cinema.
Step 2:Section B
1.show the places on the blackboard.
T: Let’s imagine our classroom is a city.Today,let’s bring the places to our classroom.
Can you remember the places in the video.(带读单词)
2.show the streets.
T:There are so many places around our city.There are also many streets around our city.Let’s try to name them.(以学生名字命名道路)
3.show the map.
T:The places and the streets make a map of our city.(show the map on the blackboard.)Look,Where’s the bank?
S:It’s on...Street.
4.work in pairs .
