Task 1 Lead in
教师给学生播放关于环境的音乐视频 Heal The World,Tell Me Why.
教师写出关键的几句歌词:Heal the world拯救这世界;Make it a better place让它变得美好;For you and for me为你,为我;And the entire human race为了全人类
视频教学不仅可以自然导入话题,而且能活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的学习兴趣。从歌词中,学生可以悟出环境保护的重要性。情感教育很自然的渗透教学中。
Task 2 Show the pictures of the earth and tell students the earth is polluted now.
For example: (1) The factories that burn coal pollute the air with a lot of black smoke.(2) Factories put waste into the river.(3) People should throw away litter in the bin.(4)There are more cars on the road.
本部分复习回顾各种污染,分别是噪声污染,空气污染,水污染的具体例子,主要让学生对环境破坏有直观的认识,认识保护环境的重要性,从而激发他们强烈的社会责任感和对未来发展的思考。
教师引出下面的句子,So together,our actions can make a difference and lead to a better future.这个句子是环境保护的重要句型,呼吁人们保护环境。所以这个句型在本节课中要多次使用,贯穿整个课堂。
Task 3 Tell students we should do these things to protect the environment.

II Listening
1c Listen and check the things that Julia and Jack talk about.
1d listen again.Check the things that Julia is doing now,the things she will do in the future and the things she would never do.
