Lavoisier experiment is a classic in the history of chemistry. To simulate the experimental principle of Lavoisier and to explore the composition of air is an important part of junior high school chemistry teaching. In the process of teaching, I try to guide students to analyze Lavoisier experiment, imitate the way of thinking of scientists, follow the footsteps of great men and explore the spirit of great man’s exploration, so as to cultivate students rigorous scientific thinking and master the method of inquiry of air composition. (A) to explore the relationship between the volume of gas in the closed container and the volume of liquid into the liquid under the same temperature and pressure, how to quantitatively determine the close
