众所周知,在日本的明治时代,幸田露伴、森鸥外、夏目漱石等著名作家都有很深的汉文学素养。但是,随着近代化的推进,在日本知识分子中间出现了远离汉文学的倾向。提起大正作家和中国的关联时,首先浮现在我们脑海里的作家是谷崎润一郎、佐藤春夫、芥川龙之介、木下杢太郎等人,其数目比明治时代已经少了很多。在大正时代,上述作家和中国有着很深的联系。然而,日本自从明治维新以来,包括很多文学家在内的社会各界都开始追逐欧美,在这种大的社会潮流中,上述的文学家们为什么要对中国产生如此大的兴趣呢?他们的“支那趣味”的真实情况到底是怎样的呢?下面就以谷崎润一郎为例,分析一下日本大正作家的中国情结。
