公示语代表着一个城市的文化素质和精神面貌,而不规范的公示语翻译既会为外籍人士带来不便,在一定程度上也有损城市的对外形象。为了提升杭州涉外酒店公示语的对外服务质量,对杭州地区涉外酒店内的公示语进行拍摄采集、对其译文进行分析,并从顺应理论的角度提出相应的翻译原则,即顺应地道本土、顺应简约实用、顺应审美心理和顺应国际通用。
Publicity represents the cultural quality and spiritual appearance of a city. However, the nonstandard translation of public signs not only brings inconvenience to foreigners, but also detracts from the city’s external image to a certain extent. In order to improve the service quality of foreign-related hotel announcements in Hangzhou, we collected the public signs in foreign-related hotels in Hangzhou and analyzed their translations. From the perspective of conformity theory, we put forward corresponding translation principles, that is, complying with authentic native land and conforming to simplicity Practical, conform to aesthetic psychology and conform to the international common.
