多年来,我们新民市教委始终把发展幼儿教育作为一项重要工作来抓。目前,全市已普及学前一年教育,85%的乡(镇)还抓了学前两年教育。成绩是喜人的。但是,几年来的实践证明,城区小学设学前班弊多利少,对小学和幼儿教育都有不同程度的影响。特别是有的小学设的学前班,用小学的标准、小学的方法去要求和教育幼儿,单纯用识字的多少和做算术题的快慢来衡量孩子的发展,从根本上违背了幼儿教育的规律。对此,我市教委从全市实际出发,提出了“农村抓发展,城镇抓提高,着力整顿个体园所”的工作方针,并采取如下的管理措施:一是要求乡(镇)办好中心幼儿园,让中心园在全乡(镇)起好示范作用。同时要继续抓好并巩固学前两年教育成果。有条件的乡(镇)要搞好学前3年教育。
